Sample UCITS ETF factsheet
This ETF factsheet example is a two-page monthly factsheet for a fictional global equity UCITS ETF, produced the way autoFactsheet produces factsheets for clients: branded, data-checked and compliant with UK and EU marketing rules.
Sample document. The fund, figures and service providers in this sample are fictitious and for illustration only.
What's included
- Investment objective and key facts: ISIN, share class, launch date, ongoing charges, fund size and NAV
- Cumulative performance since launch against the index
- Calendar-year performance and five rolling 12-month periods
- Summary risk indicator and key risks
- Top 10 holdings with sector and country allocation
- Portfolio characteristics, index details, exchange listings and fund parties
Compliance built in
Every autoFactsheet template is designed to meet UK and EU marketing rules. This sample shows them applied:
- "This is a marketing communication" with the ESMA prescribed wording on page 1
- All risk wording at least the size of the main text, as COBS 4.5 and the ESMA guidelines require
- "Past performance does not predict future returns" placed before the performance figures
- Complete 12-month periods only, with source, currency and basis stated
- Key risks on the same page as performance
- The four UK overseas-fund statements (COBS 4.15) and ETF secondary-market warning
Read our UK and EU factsheet compliance checklist for the full set of rules.
How this sample was built
The figures, the fund and its service providers are fictitious, but the document was produced exactly as a client's would be: one month of NAVs, holdings and fund facts went in, and the engine calculated every return, weight and statistic, drew the charts, applied the disclaimers and checked the result before writing the PDF.
What changes for your fund
- Your logo, colours, fonts and layout, built once as your template
- Your share classes, currencies and listings, all produced in the same run
- Your benchmark or index, with performance shown only for complete 12-month periods
- Your approved disclaimers and country wording, or our standard UK and EU text
- Your KID or EMT figures, cross-checked on every run so the two documents always agree
Questions about this sample
How long does it take to set up a template like this?
Usually a few weeks from receiving your branding and a month of data. After that, each month's factsheets are produced the same day the data arrives.
Can the factsheet be produced in other languages?
Yes. The same template can produce German, French, Italian or other language versions, with local disclaimers, from the same data.
Is the PDF accessible?
Yes. It is a tagged PDF built to the PDF/UA standard, with descriptions of each chart for screen-reader users and the key figures attached as a machine-readable data file.
