Fund factsheet production service
Monthly fund and ETF fact sheets for UCITS funds, ETFs, AIFs and OEICs, produced automatically from your administrator and portfolio data. Every figure is calculated, not typed; every factsheet is checked against your KID before release; and every PDF arrives in your branding, accessible and ready to publish.
What you get each month
- Two-page monthly factsheet per share class, in your colours, fonts and logo
- Performance: cumulative since launch, calendar years, five complete 12-month periods, against the benchmark or index
- Key facts: ISIN, share class, launch date, charges, fund size, NAV, SFDR classification
- Portfolio: top 10 holdings, sector and country breakdowns, characteristics, exchange listings for ETFs
- Risk indicator and key risks in plain English
- Distributions and yield for income share classes
- Manager commentary, with a safeguard that last month's text cannot go out with this month's figures
- Your approved disclaimers, or our standard UK and EU wording

How it works
- Set up your template once. We build it in your branding and agree the data with you, usually within a few weeks.
- Send the month's data. NAVs, holdings and fund facts from your administrator, index provider or internal systems.
- We calculate and check. Every figure is computed from your data and run through the checks below.
- You review and approve. You receive print-ready PDFs and a run report showing exactly what was checked.
What is checked before every release
- Every required field present, dates and currencies valid
- Monthly prices complete from launch, with no gaps or stale values
- Sector and country weights add up to 100%; holdings in order of weight
- Risk indicator, ongoing charges, holding period, ISIN and currency cross-checked against your KID or EMT
- Performance shown only in complete 12-month periods, and hidden until a share class has a 12-month record
- Manager commentary dated to the same month as the figures
- Disclaimer placeholders matched to real fields; text that would overflow the page stops the build
- A run report for every document, with a SHA-256 fingerprint of each PDF
Accessible and machine-readable
Every factsheet is a tagged PDF built to the PDF/UA accessibility standard, with chart descriptions for screen-reader users, which helps you evidence the Consumer Duty for every investor. Each PDF also carries its key facts and figures as an attached data file, so platforms and distributors can read them directly.
UCITS and AIF factsheet templates
Each fund fact sheet is built from a template set up once for your range. A template fixes the layout, branding and wording; the data changes each month. Typical starting points:
| Fund type | What the template usually includes | Example |
|---|---|---|
| UCITS fund or ETF | Five complete 12-month periods of performance, risk indicator, ongoing charges, holdings and breakdowns, UK and EU marketing wording | Sample UCITS ETF factsheet |
| AIF or investment trust | NAV and share price, discount or premium, gearing, portfolio and manager commentary; wording for professional or retail investors as appropriate | Built to your current layout |
| Index | Index performance, methodology summary, constituents and index-provider disclaimers | Sample index factsheet |
| Crypto ETP | Coin entitlement, custody and staking, and the UK crypto risk warning | Sample crypto ETP factsheet |
We can rebuild your existing design as a template or start from one of ours. See fund factsheet automation for how one master template is kept under control across a range.
Multi-language factsheets
Funds sold in several countries often need the same factsheet in more than one language, with local disclaimers. Our approach is one set of data and one template, with the labels and fixed wording held per language, so every version shows identical figures. German is the first language we are adding; other languages, and country versions with local disclaimers, are set up per fund on request. Commentary and disclaimers you supply in each language are used as provided.
Whole fund ranges from one file
Management companies, ACDs and fund platforms can send one range file each month covering every fund and share class, instead of a file per fund. The whole range is checked first: prices up to the same month-end, weights adding up to 100, every share class linked to its fund. Then every factsheet is built in one run.
You receive one PDF per share class and a batch report listing each one as built or held back, with the reason, so a range of 50 or 100 share classes can be reviewed at a glance. One problem holds back only the share classes it affects; the rest are delivered. Each sponsor on a platform can have its own branded template from the same data.
If you need a data feed rather than a monthly file, or factsheets supplied under your own name, talk to us and we will scope it with you.
What does factsheet production cost?
The price of fund factsheet production depends mostly on five things:
- Number of funds and share classes. The fee is per fund; extra share classes of the same fund cost little more to produce.
- How often. Monthly factsheets cost more over a year than quarterly ones.
- Template. A standard template costs less to set up than a bespoke design or a rebuild of your current one.
- Data. Clean data in an agreed format is quickest; data spread across several files or providers takes more set-up.
- Extras. Additional languages, country versions and data feeds are priced separately.
Hand-built factsheets cost staff time instead: updating figures, checking them and re-checking after corrections, every month. Our in-house vs outsourced guide compares the options.
Pricing
From £150 per fund per month, covering all of the fund's share classes, plus a £500 one-off template set-up (Launch plan, up to 5 funds).
Larger ranges, bespoke templates, other languages and data feeds are quoted. See all plans.
Common questions
How much does fund fact sheet production cost?
Our Launch plan is £150 per fund per month, covering all the fund's share classes, with a £500 one-off template set-up. Larger ranges and bespoke work are quoted up front.
How quickly are factsheets ready after month-end?
Once the month's data arrives, factsheets are produced and checked the same day, ready for your review and approval.
Can you use our existing factsheet design?
Yes. We rebuild your current layout, fonts and colours as an automated template, or design a new one with you.
When do fund managers publish the first factsheet for a new fund?
Usually after the first full month-end, once there are holdings and a price history to report; some publish a launch factsheet straight away showing the objective, fees and team. Performance figures are normally only shown once the fund has 12 months of history. We can set up the template before launch so the first factsheet is ready on day one.
Do you check the factsheet against our KID?
Yes. The risk indicator, ongoing charges, holding period, ISIN and currency are compared with your KID or EMT file on every run, and any difference is reported before release.
